I just purchased a Radcity bike without battery and charger. I want to purchase a battery and charger but no sure what battery to buy.
What information is included in the serial number on the bike. Also best place to but a battery.

I'm curious here, why didn't you get the battery and charger from RAD? just pricing? or did you buy the bike used, and it just didn't come with them?

try aliexpress - they can have pretty good prices on things, but keep in mind that the air shipping will be killer, and may double the price of the unit.

prior to buying used bikes it's always a good idea to check the "legal status" of the bike here - https://bikeindex.org/

I have sent them a request for information. Got an automated answer because of covid and the season. They stated they are very busy but would get to my request for information. Thanks for info.

Just checked the bike index site.
The serial number I have is not in their listings.

Everything I checked is legitimate.

ooooh yeah if its used, you'll have to have the original owner send an email to RADPOWERBIKES to let them know that it was sold it to you. otherwise Rad wont see you a replacement. they have prices for batteries and chargers on their webpage though: https://radpowerbikes.ca/
