Wheel pinging

I've had my rover for three years. This year it developed wheel pinging sounds in the front wheel. I've had the spokes tuned by a pro but it's still doing it. Has any one experienced this?

Hey Jim, are you sure it isn't the disc brakes? Warped or bent disc perhaps? Have you replaced the brake pads yet? If not, how many miles are you at? Most of the time the sound from the spokes comes from the rear as opposed to the front due to the increased weight.
