I just got a RadRunner and I'm looking to upgrade the display. I'm in Canada, RPB is sold out of displays and almost all other accessories, plus our prices are much higher. $172.00 for a display.
My question is, has anyone here successfully used the Bafang C965 display. I believe it looks the same as the one RPB sells. Perhaps only the name is different?
Are there any other displays people have successfully used on the Runner. Thanks in advance

Ryan

I believe the C965 is for mid-drive motors. Have you looked at Bolton's controller/display combo? Looks like they are out of the standalone screen but perhaps you can buy the kit? He did a video on it working with the RadRunner.

Yes, I looked at Bolton's and again because I'm in Canada and with everything in US dollars, plus shipping, by the time I get it the cost is just way too much. I'm trying to find a display that I can unlock the speed limit but purchase on Amazon Canada for it to make sense financially

The Bolton kit is a pre order and with exchange rate it's 306.00 not Including shipping, so I'm looking at 350 to upgrade, that's too much. My wife would kill me lol. There's got to be something reasonable available in Canadian funds somewhere

Ryan

Yeah that's a lot. I guess the one other perhaps time consuming option would be to get in touch with King Meter who makes the displays. There are two emails at the bottom of their website linked below. It *looks* like they are available on Aliexpress but I have no idea if it would be plug and play. From my understanding it's really the controller that is the brains so if the connections are the same perhaps it would work. If this does end up working you'd definitely be helping a lot of other folks out  8)
