Bike-2-Bike intercom?
crorris:
I use the Sena R1 helmets for myself and my wife. They work the same (and with) the Sena Pi that @rabi mentioned. In addition to the intercom functionality, they have bluetooth for my phone for music or call. The one I have actually even has FM radio as well, but I never use that. One thing that I really like about it is how it works with my Samsung Galaxy Watch 4. I use the exercise tracking on it and it plays me a status update every mile. It tells me through the speakers how many miles I've gone, what my time and speed was for that last mile, and what my current heart rate is. Bluetooth earbuds would give me this same info, but I don't like wearing earbuds for fear of losing them, and I still want to hear the sound around me for safety. The speakers on the Sena helmet are right above your ears and the microphone is right above your forehead. I've asked people I'm talking to if they hear a lot of wind noise and they have all said no. I think @Ryan has link to a review posted here that he did of the Sena stuff.
SemperVee:
Game changer with our Amazon SENA helmets (https://amzn.to/3yeQIX8) that also play music from the phone. Work as good or better than my more expensive MC helmet SENA com!!
914Rover:
Wife & I have the Sena R2 helmets and they're great. I believe the range is listed as 1/2 mile and they're pretty reasonably priced..
Goosecreek:
