I decided to make a video comparing the step-thru RadRover to the high-step RadRover. Hopefully this will help those considering whether to get the step-thru: https://youtu.be/uF8_P3zRSC0

As always if you're purchasing a Rad Power Bike I appreciate it if you use my link to support content like this: https://bit.ly/2VMSVHl

As a 60+ rider I appreciate the access on my ST1 vs my son's Rover. The bikes are a bit heavy so the less you need to tilt the better. My flexibility is also less than it used to be.

I just bought both, if I had to do it over I'd buy two step thru's --The step over is tall and the way the seat sits it uncomfortable to stand flat footed on the bike (6 foot tall).

I got the high step I am 6'3" and I wish I got the step-through for the daily commute as I have a milk crate for a basket (Canada stock your baskets please its been 3 months of no stock). and it is quite annoying to get on and off the bike with so much cargo space on the back end.

I too have a milk crate. I've just adapted and learned to bring my right foot over the front of the bar.

I'm not sure if being well under 6'3" is an advantage, or disadvantage there. lol

I have a 2017 high-step that has been a great bike (lots of upgrades including the Bolton Rover upgrades). But my hips are really giving me problems even after one hip replacement, so I went ahead and ordered the 6 Plus step-thru. I'm looking forward to ridng comfortably and being able to mount/dismount without issue, especially in emergency situations. Still I'll be sad saying goodbye to the '17.

SpeedracerXT, How many miles do you have on your 2017 RR?

Just bought the Rad Rover 6 Plus Step Thru. Will have it soon. I already have the Rad City 5 Plus Step Thru and really like that bike. I like to have two bikes in case one is in the shop and the Rover gives me a bit of a different ride, etc.
