Where are Rad bikes made?  All in one country or several different countries?

Not sure about every single component but they're likely assembled in China like most other bikes.

Rad Power Bikes are designed, prototyped, and tested in the US at the Rad laboratories with their own scientists and engineers. After a model has passed real world testing and meets productions specifications, the bikes are manufactured in two primary factories at Jinhua Jobo and Jinhua in China. After quality control inspections and 100 meter test track ride by Rad staff, the bikes are shipped out.

Pretty much every e-bike in the world is either made in China or uses components from China, but Rad does go the extra step of meeting stricter European standards on top of the US standards. This is why you'll sometimes look at a bike that is very similar to a Rad product, but the Rad will have a slightly lower weight capacity because they drop test their frames.

suffice to say, most anything with an electronic component likely has, at the very least, parts from China.

That includes the device someone is typing on when they're online asking these sorts of questions.

That's correct Altema. Rad has their own engineers and lab in the USA and they actually "design" the bikes and submit the design specs to the manufacturing plants in China. Unfortunately many other bike manufacturers selling bikes in the USA and Canada, maybe the EU too, simply buy various parts from companies and have them assembled and rebranded using their name. No research, no design, no specs etc. They just buy whatever is available. In a few years I guess we'll see who survives and who doesn't. I think Rad is going to be one of the survivors.

As I know it's a bicycle brand founded in California and headquartered in Canada. This bike company is made in China. US companies often don't have their factories, so most US companies' bikes are made in China.
