« on: March 09, 2022, 10:46:13 AM »
I am looking for a rack that holds 2 Roadrunner 2 Bikes to put on a car hitch.  Please advise.

Thanks!

Hi pepndon, I have looked and looked for a rack that had a load capacity high enough for two heavily modified Radrunners and the only ones I could find did not have roll on ramps. My sweetie and I don't want to lift 100 lb. bikes on and off a rack. The only racks that had the load rating were ones built for motorcycles and not really suited for e-bikes. A while back I stumbled on a single rack and called the manufacturer Vershaul inquiring about a 2-bike version. They emailed me a link to a two-bike version that is made for a company that makes the UBCO 2-wheel drive electric motorcycles that weigh 150 lbs each. I purchased the rack and assembled it but have not used it yet. It is a very nice and well built rack, It does not fold, but can be easily converted to a one or two bike rack. Be prepared for sticker shock, I bought it because it is the ONLY RACK tailored for the weight capacity I required and has a nice loading ramp and really nice tie down points.

hope this helps, Cygnan

We carry our two Radrunners (with batteries and locks removed to reduce weight) on the hitch-mounted Hollywood Sport Rider rack recommended and sold by Rad (and others). You need the additional hoop adapter for the smaller wheels, and the bar attachments. Not cheap, but it works great for us.

We just got our RR plus and we had the question. I decided to go with the thule easy fold. It's very easy to take off and put on.

Have a look at the Hollywood Destination bicycle rack,

Really well put together rack and sturdy with 2 e-bikes mounted.

Can anyone suggest a less expensive car hitch rack for 2 Rad runners?  I know the Hollywood is probably the best but trying to save some $.

This one is the cheapest you'll find, and it works great. You need a 2" hitch for it.
