Does anyone know how to fix this very minor but irritating "issue".
[besides taping it shut]   ;)

Try holding it in place with the blunt end of a pair of pliers (to protect your finger from the heat), then gently heat with a hair dryer to soften and hold in place until it cools down.  Keep the heater moving to avoid possible hot spots and melting.  Sort of hit and miss; depends on the chemistry of the "rubber".
Shucks Ma'am, I'm no "Hero Member", I just like to wear this cape.

I take my finger and stretch it from the hinge side and push it down andnow it stay closed.
Saw this on another forum and it works.

Thanks. Initial attempt using this approach appears to work!  I'll check on it after a couple hours to see if it stays shut.

WOW!  I just checked it after a day, and it stayed shut!.  Thanks for the good and simple solution.  Guess they should add  that to the manual, if it's not already.....

Don't just push it down.  Start from the hinge side and squeegee it closed with your thumb, as though you're trying to expel liquid underneath.

Might be the same as above, just another way to describe it.

Whatever you do, don't EVER get anything metal near that port except the charging plug. It will SHORT your battery and that is a royal pain in the ass to fix.
