I am looking at the Kuat Racks Sherpa 2.0 for my Wagon and Rover. They list bike rack capacity at 40# for each bike.  Is there anything out there that is proven or do I need to look for motorcycle racks?

The 40lb one isn't going to cut it. You would need to look at the Kuat NV 2.0 or the NV Base 2.0. Both have the option for an e-bike ramp so they are definitely designed with heavier bikes in mind. They are both rated at 60lbs per bike though. I believe with the Rover you would be ok if the battery wasn't attached but you'd probably be over the weight limit with the Wagon.

Rad themselves sells the Hollywood rack, but it is also available on Amazon. I also have another popular one listed under Bike Racks/Storage on the accessories page: https://www.radowners.com/index.php/topic,104.0.html

I'm keeping a close eye on other options and will share more here as I learn of more options.

That's good advise. I'm going to try a cargo basket: https://amzn.to/3b7RcUh. I have used the cheap steel one before from Walmart and it did well. Will need some uprights fashioned to keep the bikes in place. A narrow load ramp might help protect the bottom. We'll see.  Might be able to stand the kayaks up, too.
