2017 radwagon controller upgrade screen connection.

Has anyone had issues upgrading the controller on a 2017 radwagon? The screen connector is not compatible

Has anyone ran into issues upgrading the controller and screen on a 2017 radwagon?  The connection that comes with the Bolton upgrade kit is not the correct connector. I've heard you need to take it apart and solder each one and that they are color coded. Would like a second opinion before I start ripping everything apart.
