2 deckhands for RadWagon
« on: September 23, 2020, 08:31:03 AM »
I just bought a RadWagon with a deck pad and deckhand (will be delivered next week!). I'm thinking about a second deck have so my two 6+ year old kids can join. I saw that a second deckhand can also be put on as a backrest but wondering if anyone has put something in the middle of the deck pad so each child has something to hold onto. Not sure if it could even be done. Any other suggestions welcome. Thank you!
PS- not interested in the caboose as there will often be a second adult instead of kids.

The caboose from Rad would be an option though maybe not ideal for 6+ year olds: https://bit.ly/2G8QmK0

Otherwise I'd probably try to DIY some kind of grab handle attached to the bars for the rear child.

you could move your one deck hand back, and add a different handle for the front kid. my plan is to use a stem  mounted on the seatpost to host a mini handlebar for my passengers
